Scientific and Educational Program “INNOVATION LEADERS”

June 19, 2026

The scientific and educational program “INNOVATION LEADERS” is the concluding stage of the project “International Scientific School ‘MEDICINE OF THE YOUTH'” and is designed for the 20 finalists of the main contest who passed a rigorous expert selection. The program aims not only to recognize the best young researchers, but also to immerse them in the real ecosystem of Russian healthcare: participants visit leading scientific and manufacturing facilities, state institutions, and innovation laboratories, acquire project management skills, and learn to build a dialogue with industry leaders. The organizers provide finalists with round-trip travel and accommodation in Moscow, creating conditions for comprehensive professional and cultural exchange.

The program is packed with diverse events that sequentially uncover different dimensions of scientific and managerial activity. As part of the program, participants take guided tours showcasing digital solutions for medicine and participate in roundtables and panel discussions. They visit the Federation Council, industrial venues within Russian Health Care Week, the Medical Research and Educational Center of Lomonosov Moscow State University, and scientific and clinical laboratories. The cultural program includes a sightseeing boat cruise across Moscow, enabling participants to combine professional development with informal networking.

The culmination of the program is an in-person meeting of the Expert Commission, where finalists defend their projects before the jury, followed by participation in the Scientific and Educational Forum “MEDICINE OF THE YOUTH”, featuring an interactive biomedical quiz, presentation of the project abstract collection, and a ceremonial award presentation for contest winners. All program participants receive certificates of program completion, and the best works receive additional awards. The program concludes with the participants’ departure, leaving behind strengthened international connections, new competencies, and practical tools for implementing their own innovative medical developments.
