The collection includes articles, archive materials, documents, and speeches dedicated to the life, scientific, clinical, and pedagogical heritage of Academician Vladimir Petrovich Filatov, the founder of tissue therapy and leading scientific school of ophthalmology.

This collection includes materials, reports, and abstracts presented at the 2nd International Interdisciplinary Forum “Polypeptide Therapy: New Opportunities for Russia” on December 7, 2021, covering Russian and international experience in the application of polypeptide therapy in various nosologies and comprehensive rehabilitation, including patients recovering from SARS-CoV-2 infection.

The proceedings presented to readers from the 1st International Interdisciplinary Forum “Polypeptide Therapy: New Opportunities for Russia” are dedicated to the original domestic method of therapeutic and preventive medicine proposed in 1933 by Academician V.P. Filatov.

Extensive clinical experience in the use of tissue preparations demonstrates their safety, high pharmacological and physiological activity, and therapeutic value.

Over the years, the chemical composition and pharmacological properties of placenta have been thoroughly studied, uncovering new mechanisms of action.
