“MEDICINA MOLODAYA” Included in the 2026 Scientific and Practical Events Plan of the Russian Ministry of Health
The All-Russian Scientific School “MEDICINA MOLODAYA” has been officially included in the scientific and practical events plan of the Ministry of Health of Russia. The comprehensive program for supporting young medical innovators is listed under No. 137 in Document No. 782, “On Approval of the Plan of Scientific and Practical Events of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for 2026.” “MEDICINA MOLODAYA” was first recognized among priority projects requiring implementation in 2025.
Elena Dibrova, President of the V.P. Filatov International Foundation for Biomedical Technologies Development, emphasized that “MEDICINA MOLODAYA” programs are distinguished by their multifaceted content and are implemented continuously throughout the entire year. The initiatives encompass vibrant knowledge exchange: relevant scientific debates, presentations of breakthrough solutions in future medicine, and discussions on digitalization and interdisciplinary approaches.
— Over five years of dedicated activity, exploring optimal formats for engaging young innovators, and systematically establishing a support framework, we have matured into a formidable scientific school with a strong pool of experts, partners, and our own development infrastructure. Today, we offer more than just recognition, diplomas, internships, and citation index growth. We actively help translate and scale scientific projects and research findings, — stated Elena Dibrova.
This year, more than 10,000 participants from 72 Russian regions, CIS member states, and beyond — including India, China, and Serbia — are projected to take part in “MEDICINA MOLODAYA” events.
Scheduled activities include scientific pitch sessions at universities across Russia and abroad, the All-Russian Summer Camp “RUSSIA — A COUNTRY OF SCIENTISTS. MEDICINA MOLODAYA,” and an extensive scientific project competition. Outstanding developers of medical innovations will complete the “INNOVATION LEADERS” educational curriculum, and a wide circle of physicians and healthcare specialists will gather at the annual “MEDICINA MOLODAYA” Forum.
Furthermore, the V.P. Filatov Foundation traditionally serves as co-organizer of major events across medicine, healthcare, and biotechnology.
