V.P. Filatov Foundation Delegation Participated in the “Silk Road 2026” International Conference

On May 22, a delegation of the V.P. Filatov International Foundation for Biomedical Technologies Development took part in the International Conference on Industry, Education, Research and Application Cooperation “Silk Road 2026”.

The “Silk Road 2026” conference is a traditional international platform created to strengthen partnerships in the fields of industry, education, science, and the implementation of developments. Essentially, it is a bridge connecting scientific discoveries, educational programs, practical manufacturing, and clinical healthcare, uniting countries along the Silk Road.

Within the framework of the Conference, Foundation Director Elena Nikolaevna Kolotilo delivered a welcoming address on behalf of Foundation President Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Dibrova. She spoke about the Foundation and its flagship project, the International Scientific School “MEDICINE OF THE YOUTH”, and the collaboration aimed at building international teams and identifying and selecting young researchers capable of advancing an idea from the laboratory through clinical trials to the individual patient.

The conference was also attended by:

— Vice President of Xi’an Medical University, MD, PhD, Professor Li Xueping;

— Assistant to the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Eldarovich Nafigin;

— Rector of Kazan State Medical University Ayrat Zakievich Farrakhov;

— Head of the Scientific Direction of the V.P. Filatov Foundation O.S. Glazachev, along with other international representatives.

The Foundation extends its gratitude to the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, the organizers of the Silk Road 2026 conference, and the leadership of Xi’an Medical University for the invitation, for their high appreciation of the Foundation’s work, and for the opportunity to represent the Russian Federation at such an important, high-level event.
