Scientific and Practical Expertise Committee and Project Scaling Program
The initiative facilitates collaboration between young scientists, qualified experts, and heads of relevant government and commercial entities on theoretical, clinical, and economic matters. Any laureate of the “MEDICINA MOLODAYA” competition can apply for this support.
To bring young researchers’ innovations to patients, a comprehensive effort spanning many months is required in collaboration with Foundation experts. Many phases are distant from purely scientific creativity, yet they are absolutely indispensable for successfully commercializing a medical product.
Here is just a portion of this groundwork:
- drafting and submitting patent applications for the innovation;
- conducting market volume assessments across Russia — requiring proven valuation methodologies and reliable data sources;
- analyzing the competitive environment and landscape of alternative solutions;
- calculating and demonstrating the clear economic benefit that a specific clinic or the healthcare sector will gain from deploying the development;
- formulating a project development roadmap spanning 1, 3, and 5 years;
- identifying a clinical healthcare facility willing to pilot the product and formalizing legal agreements;
- and much more.
Yet all challenges can be surmounted when there is a dedicated team! Teamwork is also something we teach throughout our educational programs.
How to become a participant in the project scaling program:
- submit an application to the competition and become a laureate;
- complete the “INNOVATION LEADERS” scientific and educational curriculum;
- execute a project mentorship agreement with the Foundation.
