Rehabilitation Using Polypeptide Therapy in Post-COVID-19 Patients
Duration: 18 acad. hrs
Form of study: Distance learning (part-time, without interruption from work) using distance educational technologies
Issued document: Advanced Training Certificate
Price: 6,500 RUB
Program Objectives
To support medical specialists in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Neurology, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Pulmonology, as well as physician-researchers, by demonstrating the clinical role of polypeptide therapy in the rehabilitation of post-COVID-19 patients, facilitating the restoration of vital organ systems and reinforcing overall health and physiological resilience.
Competencies Enhanced Upon Program Completion
Upon completing this program, the student enhances professional competencies in applying evidence-based polypeptide therapies for post-COVID-19 rehabilitation, treating pulmonary complications and endotoxemia associated with SARS-CoV-2, organizing multidisciplinary recovery in healthcare institutions, and implementing individualized rehabilitation trajectories.
Knowledge Acquired During Training
- Pathophysiology of post-COVID-19 syndrome (Long COVID), endothelial dysfunction, microthrombosis, and immune dysregulation;
- Role of peptide bioregulators in tissue repair, pulmonary surfactant preservation, and reduction of systemic chronic inflammation;
- Clinical algorithms for multi-organ rehabilitation in hospital and outpatient environments.
Curriculum Outline
- Long COVID: clinical manifestations, diagnostic markers, and organ vulnerabilities
- Mechanisms of peptide cytoprotection and immunomodulation in viral sequelae
- Cardiopulmonary and neurorehabilitation protocols incorporating polypeptide therapy
- Monitoring recovery outcomes and functional rehabilitation metrics
- Final assessment
Form of Final Assessment
Final assessment is conducted as a multiple-choice test consisting of 15 questions.
To successfully pass the assessment, at least 11 correct answers (out of 15) are required.
